    Perhaps in May...

when B&N, following previous upgrade patterns, upgrades the NSTG software, a good series of foreign languages dictionaries might be added to the list of resources for the benefit of local and international Nook owners who like to read in other languages.

The Sony Readers family and Kobo come furnished with dictionaries in several languages, something that would render the Nook e-readers family more attractive and versatile.

          We can always hope.

So am I the only one that is getting the feeling that the NST/NSTG is no longer going to get any updates and has been put into the same category as the first edition? I think that there have 2 updates to the NST, and the second update was to fix an issue that started with the first update.

I sure hope so.  B&N tend to break things when they release updates, and my nook was working better before any of the updates than it is now.  I'd hate to have to go through the hassle of manually blocking another crappy, useless update just to be able to keep using my nook.

I am afraid that your fears are well founded.  B&N's silence regarding the NSTG and its predecessor, the NST, confirm what some of us have been thinking about for the past weeks...  a new e ink e-reader is coming to a store near you/(us).
