    Last page read PDF

I just got the nook color, i was hesitant to spend $250, but it seemed worth it at first.  I read a lot of PDFs for work and this thing cannot remember the last page read on a PDF.  Adobe has had this basic feature for a very long time, I can even do it in numerous readers on my android phone, but not the nook color.

Am I missing something?  If not I will be returning this and the two books I bought.

B&N please provide a response on this issue.

This and the bookmark support for PDF should definitely be on the list of things that will be addressed in the next firmware update.

We do not have highlighting or annotation support available in the PDF reader for NOOKcolor.

General PDF support on NOOKcolor will be on par with other mobile PDF readers.  You should have a much better experience with tables, bulleted items, images, etc.

So it WILL BE on par because as it is now it is not.  My cell phone pdf reader beats the nook color experience by far, the only problem is that a 4.3" screen is too small, but that is a phone problem, not a reader app problem as it happens to be on nook.

And correct me if I'm wrong but when you build a product for a highly competitive market, should not you try and exceed what is expected from that product?

Being on par it is, to me, the same as running behind or, at best, side by side, with competitors.

So, please, let's improve the PDF reading experience by, at least:

                • Remembering last page viewed in a pdf
                • adding a search feature
                • adding an annotation feature
                • allowing to look for a work in the dictionary

It understand that, from a bookstore point of view, having their own format being the best reading experience available on their own e-reader is desirable, however it must be kept in mind the one's is not the center of the universe... And that is why people jailbreak or root their devices, to have the experience they want. No, I don't have an  iphone.
