    Bad update for Adobe Reader - can't reinstall or delete

      A few weeks ago I received an update for Adobe Acrobat Reader. The update has broken Reader. It continues to ask for an update, but it always comes up "Update failed." I have attempted to delete the program, but when I tap on it, there is no option to delete. The Reader icon is still on the Apps page.


      I have downloaded alternative Acrobat readers, but none of them work anywhere near as well as Adobe's own.


      Do you know of any procedures to delete the app so it can be reinstalled properly? Thanks.
