Purchasing more than one eBook at a time

I tend to purchase more than one eBook at a time especially when I find a series that I like. Why is the eBook Purchase Now option only for one eBook at a time? Have you considered using the same shopping cart method as physical books? Just add an Add to eShopping Cart button. Maybe it has to do how you have set up the charge to default credit card? Anyway, food for thought.

Yep, that would be a good idea, helpful to both customers and credit card companies.  We've asked for it before, but it's good to have people keep asking for it -- maybe someday soon we'll get it.

I'd love to see that.  My credit card company actually contacted me to make sure my B&N purchases were authorized by me since there were so many of them at once.

              @ Farseer,

Shopping cart would be a good method.  I had five calls on my answering machine from my credit card company when I purchased six books.  Then I bought a gift card to keep on the account, so purchases will go through the gift card first.

I've found, once I got past all the newness of this, that I tend not to buy multiple books at one time anymore.  I might buy 2 and possibly 3, but generally, I add the books to my wish list and buy them as I need them, rather than all at once, since I no longer need to go anywhere to get the books.  I suppose if I was going on vacation I might stock up, but having the nook has changed my buying habits, so I haven't really run into this.  But still, it would be nice to put everything in a shopping cart and only have to buy once.

This is how I'm starting to be, but I've always been a book hoarder.  I buy way more books than I'll ever read.  I have noticed that my book buying ways are changing since getting the Nook.  I don't buy everything on my wishlist as soon as they are released anymore.  I have a huge wishlist on B&N and I'll buy as I need them.

I never thought about putting a gift card on my account.  That's a great idea.
