This is the first book in a planned 5 part series.

          Everything Theory: Cold Compass

Gabe is a disenchanted twenty year-old that has been dragged down for most of his life by the bizarre legacy his deceased father left behind. At the age of seventeen, Gabe was contacted by government employees that once worked with his father, offering him an outrageous salary if he would take part in an effort to revitalize his father’s work. Bit by bit, Gabe discovers that the work his father was involved in was incredibly strange. His father was viewed by his peers as a mad scientist of sorts, dabbling in controversial projects concerning genetics manipulation, advanced space exploration, time travel, and ESP.

Cold Compass, the first book in the Everything Theory series, opens as Gabe is tasked with his first assignment as an unofficial member of a shadow organization known as the Center for Scientific Anomalous Research (CSAR). With the assistance of a CSAR official posing as an FBI agent, Gabe travels to the small town of Hasper, North Carolina where people are being killed by an ancient evil that lurks beneath the town. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Gabe learns that it could all very well be the result of one of his father’s failed studies.

Along the way, Gabe must also contend with the fact that he is beginning to see ghosts and is being hunted down by an enigmatic figure that calls himself Garrison Sleet. As he slowly unravels the mysteries of his father, Gabe slowly understands that even the evil lurking beneath Hasper is tied to not only his father’s work, but to some integral part of him as well.

"Everything Theory is a dark and creepy ride that takes you right into the lair of the things that go bump in the night."

You ever notice how there are some things that keep on showing up repetitively in your life and you’re asking “again”? Ever wondered what the lesson you are supposed to take from this and be learning? Ever wonder why do you keep missing it?

I’ve heard that the repetitiveness that continues to show up in our lives is the Universe attempting to teach us something and until we finally get it, it will continue to repeat itself. I must say from all of the repetitiveness that has been showing up in my life; I’ve come to the conclusion that the Universe- God is trying to teach me something really important. I’ve been feeling like maybe HE’s trying to say: “You don’t get to react Liza; you only get to trust me. I will act for

                    An Anthology of Curious Oddities

This is a collection of short stories and flash fiction. It contains eight total stories, and is not all that long. Each and every one of these stories has a powerful emotional impact, and I sincerely hope you enjoy them.

Julina's Wish is flash fiction focusing on emotion and dealing with mental trauma. It's the shortest story I have, but it's quite powerful.

Julina's Enslavement is quite a bit longer than Julina's Wish and tells the beginning of Julina's trauma from the last story.

Julina's Emancipation tells how the trauma ended, or at least the source of it.

Praise for Stupidity features a different character, and is a satire on those who say that violent media encourages violence in real life. This is one of my favorite stories, personally.

The Artist Enters features two different characters, one a sculptor, the other royalty. You might find yourself wanting to bang your head against the wall after reading this one.

The Sculptor features the sculptor from the previous story, faced with what to do with some defective merchandise he's purchased. This story unnerves some people. Others end up much more than unnerved. You have been warned.

A Ghost Story features yet another character, and is Exactly What It Says on the Tin. A young man visits a house left to him by his grandfather despite stories that the house and estate are haunted.

Luniv's Torture features the same ghost from the previous story, except she isn't dead yet. It's nothing too graphic, but yes, it is torture. It's based on an online game that I won't mention, so don't be surprised if the details confuse you.

Here are two of my novels I have available for Nook:

                        The Wahl House Curse

Peter Corbin was in need of a change in his job as a realtor in a busy suburban community. A chance to transfer to a small town seemed to be what he and his wife Sarah needed. They purchased an old house for a bargain price without much regard for the troubled past. This proved to be something he would soon regret. The restless ghosts quickly made their presence known. (about 59,000 words).

                        Alone Again

David Sutton struggled to understand what had changed once he and Emily moved into the old suburban house, which was remodeled after being abandoned for a several years. She had been an outgoing and happy person when she and David married. Emily was only a shadow of her former self. She had become withdrawn and heard voices in the house that she felt were trying to harm her. He was worried about her, but felt helpless to prevent the decline. A coworker of David's befriended him to help him cope. Eventually witnessing some strange occurrences in the house himself, he realized that Emily’s problems may not have just been in her mind.

Alone Again is about 43,000 words and contains some mature content.

The views on soul and reincarnation vary from no such thing as a ‘soul’ to only humans possess a soul, to both humans and animals possess a soul, and that soul likewise dies when the physical body dies or that soul is immortal and never dies. All religions believe in the existence of SOUL in human body, but they differ in what happens after death. This manuscript searches for the truth.

Times of Trouble is my newest novel, available for $2.99

                                  Times of Trouble

In the near future, the U.S. government has turned into a tyranny as the government agencies known as the EPA and TSA grow with ever more power, taking away the liberty many Americans had known for over two hundred years. They’re joined by a government agency, the Health Administration, which was put together in the mid-2010′s to regulate healthcare.

Told in first person point of view, Brian Atwood, our main character, is a field agent for the FBI in Omaha. His work involves mostly cyber terrorism and actual cases of potential real world terrorism. Eventually, his wife gives birth to their third child, who has Down’s Syndrome, which does not please the Health Administration because there are rules and regulations set-up in cases like these to prevent “genetic freaks” as they like to call them, from sucking up a lot of Health Admin money. Because the Atwoods are born again Christians, they never considered aborting the baby, so now the Health people have to take him away to deal with the problem later.

Meanwhile, the Secret Service decides to recruit Brian to be the personal agent of POTUS due to his great work involving a case that dealt with terrorism that would’ve involved Offutt Air Force Base. Brian’s faith is tested every day as he deals with a man that has no morals from what Brian can see, and is tested even more when his wife finds out that she’s dying from a fast growing form of breast cancer. Trouble in the rest of the world occurs as Iran attempts to nuke Israel, which fails spectacularly, so Israel takes care of the problem. This brings condemnation from everyone, including the US, which takes the side of Iran.

When the re-election of POTUS doesn’t turn out the way he wanted it, he and his people declare the election nullified because of supposed “irregularities” with the ballots. POTUS claims that the new President-elect may take the seat sometime in the middle of next year, if everything looks to be sorted out. POTUS purges his staff of what he considers unloyal people, including Brian. At the same time, he loses his wife, but regains the son he thought he had lost.

Brian moves back to his family home in Nebraska, where we follow what happens as the country slowly falls apart. Events play out as Brian and his family sees the End Times approach.
