Exactly! This is one of the things I hate most about B&N, they deliver half the story with 1/4 of the information that the person who it effects is going to need... What is up with that???
It says: Click here to find out more about the credit and how you can start using it. You will need your Settlement ID ( XX_XXXXXXXXXXX ) to view your credit value and to see how this value was calculated.
But you click and absolutely NO INFORMATION directs you to the ONE thing you want to know.. How Much and When can it be used... You guys shouldn't send out information without having all of your ducks in a row... This is how you missed out on the Tablet market... PULL YOUR HEADS OUT, please
This is what should have been listed... It's called: Good Customer Service:
Copy your setlement ID in your email.
Click where it says "click here" in teh email to learn more about redit and when you can start using it.
On the page that comes up click on the "Title Lookup Page"
Paste your setlement ID into the appropriate field, along with the zip code on your B&N account.
You will see a list of books that qualify and the amouint of your settlement. You may not have had enough money OR it hasn't been posted to your B&N account.
When you get to the page to enter settlement ID ad zip code it tells me that information "Enter your Settlement ID and zip code to see which of your past purchases qualified under the terms of the settlement." So it sounds like it will not take you were you can shop but will show you your past purchases.
It will not even accept my settlement ID and password. Frustrating. I am pissed beyond words. At least Kindle customer service does not hang up on me 5 times in a row
You may be jumping the gun. The email received yesterday clearly states the credit won't be added to your account for three days and you will receive another email stating when it is going in.
Your credit will be put in your Barnes & Noble account within the next three days.
You do not need to take any action to receive your credit.
How will I know my credit is ready to use?
You will receive another email in the next three days confirming that your credit is in your Barnes & Noble account. That email will also include a printable certificate that you can use at any Barnes & Noble store.
Everyone is asking the questions and their are no answers!!! Every time I think I'm ordering a book using my Settlement credit.....it uses my credit card!!!!! help!!!!
Yayal, are you currently showing credit? Or gift card?
