highlighting, facebook posts, magazine subscription notifications on nook and nook color

      Just a few little questions:

      1. I have owned an original nook since it was first released last year and recently purchased a nook color as well. I never bothered with magazine subscriptions on the nook classic but since purchasing the nook color I took out a few subscriptions. Now on the homepage of my nook classic it has a permanent notification of how many new magazines have been delivered. This is nice but I can't make it go away once I have been informed of the new magazine issue. Any way to make the notification disappear? Ironically this notification doesn't always show up on the nook color where I actually read the magazines :smileyhappy:

      2. When I try to highlight a passage in the nook color to add a note or share with others it won't allow me to extend the highlight to the next page. This decreases the usability of the highlight option for me. Is there a way around this? Will it be addressed in the next software update?

      3. I have managed to change the font size and margins enough to get the whole passage I want on one page in some cases but when I share it on facebook it doesn't post the entire passage. I don't see any mention in the user manual of a character limit for facebook posts. Is there any way to get it to post the full passage? If not is there an official character limit so I know how short to keep the quotes I share? Is this also something that could be addressed in a future update?

      4. Finally, my husband and I both have a nook devices and naturally we share a library. However we would like to have our nook colors linked to our individual facebook and email accounts. Any way for us to do that?

I love my nook devices and am not too concerned about any shortcomings in my new nook color because my experience with B&N this last year has been that they consistently address customer complaints in software updates. Thanks for any help anyone can provide :smileyhappy:

not all the questions on this post are in regards to the nook color. That is why it was not originally posted in the nook color technical support forum.

I am having this problem too, my sister's nook color is registered on my account and my nook keeps getting notifications of her new magazines, which I can't even download on my nook. Is there a way to get rid of the pop up? I've tried archiving the magazine but it did not work

Do you mean the notification in the far-lower-left-corner of the NC? If so, then try tapping on it to bring it up a bigger window listing the notification(s), then tapping the notification to acknowledge that you've seen it.

I'm guessing there's very likely something similar for the eInk Nook... don't have one, so don't really know.... What if your sister acknowledges the mags on her NC? Do they still appear on your Nook?
