        All -- Alex asked that, if you're having the problem, send him your setup and details on the issue VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE. So if you haven't done so already, pass your info on. That may help get it resolved sooner.

          I'm using sbcglobal.net and am having the same problem since the new update. Damn programers. Don't they know, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!

          Has anyone come up with a solution to fix this nasty bug? I have a Gmail account as well but so far have not added that to my Nook Email accounts. Until it is fixed I'm not going to complicate matters.

          As far as this email program goes I did have a problem early on that has nothing to do with ths update.

          I was deleting emails right and left and thinking nothing of it until one day I finally got a message that my mailbox was full and I couldn't get any more email. I was flabbergasted because I thought that whenever my server was cleaned out by me Thunderbird which I use on my home computer, that the Nook deleted the email and I didn't have any worries. WRONG!!!!! Anything in the Trash was not deleted. So I have a couple a hundred emails in the trash that I had to go in and MANUALLY mark and delete before I could finally get the sucker to work again. There should be an option to delete trash on exit or after so many days. Need to get the programer working....

            Yes, the NC email program is apparently an adaptation of an Android email client that appears to be, for lack of a better word, stupid. No trash handling options (like, please empty the trash). I have requested an enhancement for 1.5 to include some kind of trash handling option.

              My email also keeps reloading; I would love to send a PM to Alex but his profile is private and I don't have his address.  If anyone else has it or can tell me where to find it, please let me know.  I'm sure its probably right in front of me but I drove over 200 miles today and had 2 back to back meetings with 2 different state agencies and my brain is fried.  Thanks in advance!

                To PM someone you need to be logged onto this site, the click on the persons name, then you will see to the right of the screen where you can PM.

                  Yikes! My inbox is totally schizophrenic. It was actually working again properly about an hour ago and even just a minute ago. I got a new message, read it, went back to the list, and now it's back to refreshing the entire list again. I can't make sense out of when it will work and when it won't... bizarre.

                    I am seeing the same behavior with the same provider (Rochester roadrunner)

                    Please keep us updated 'cause my wife is going insane from having to constantly delete the same emails over and over again and having mail she wants to keep go missing.

                    Does the extended warrantee cover damage from PMS rage?

                      Me too!  Please help.  If someone has found a solution, please let me know.  I went to a BN store and they did the re-set, de-register thing and it did not help.

                        Happening to me as well.  I've already done a NC reset and still reloading the "deleted" emails.

                          This email thing is making me nuts.  I use my Nook to check email everyday and now I can't!  Does B&N realize what a pain this is?  I've emailed them and called and get the same answer.  Turn off, unregister, delete email account.  Nothing works.  I love my Nook  and had no problems with anything until this upgrade.  What is going to be done about this?

                              Can you share his fix?  I haven't received a response from Alex.  Tech support has said that they have contacted the developers and believes there will be a rollout to fix the problem eventually.

                                  I too have been having bizarre email issues since updating to v1.4 software.  When I delete an email, it goes into the "loading" mode and then the deleted email reappears in my inbox.  Emails that I've read also get "re-loaded" as unread.  The little envelope icon on the bottom left corner keeps popping up that I have new email, when in fact, it's just the deleted emails reloading.

                                   

                                  I have PM'd Alex.  Hope B&N gets this resolved PRONTO!

                                    Hi, all I received an email from BN support. They are aware of the problem and are working on it and hope to fix soon but not sure when. I hope it's very soon! : )
