Different Books on Different Devices - Do I need Separate Accounts?

I am just investigating at this point... but considering both a NST and NHD...

My thinking is I'd use the NST for mostly my reading... And use the NHD for the interactive kids books and other features that NHD has...

Due to space limitations and different uses - I don't want ALL my books on BOTH devices...

Is there a way to "archive" it on one device (not available, doesn't take up space, etc.) but leave it available to download and use on the other...

I know I can sideload and get around it that way - but then I'm relying on my SD card (if it fails, I need to re-load with books from backup)... and that would probaly only work with NST since the interactive kids books don't seem to download to PC anyway...

So is it better to have 2 separate accounts (but then I'd need to decide which to purchase where - although in some cases that would be easy (i.e. interactive kids books on the NHD only)...and yeah, to some extent, I could still sideload to share between devices...

OR am I missing some options/alternatives with this.. Any suggestions on the best way to manage it?

I already have TONS of (mostly) free books that I've already "purchased"... so I'm already getting inundated with large numbers of files...

But any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

And also - is there a way to backup the interactive kids books on my PC (once I Have the Nook HD?)

      Thanks. Berit
