    Free Fridays

    Hypatia1

Free Fridays - it seems like the free Friday offering is showing up later and later on the "Free Friday" blog page... It is showing up on the main nook blog page though.... Shouldn't they be able to edit both pages to keep them current? If you didnt know to search and look both places you might miss out... And yes - free is free - but presumably free is a way to make customers happy to encourage them to shop more often at B&N....

Free Fridays are books, videos and apps that are offered for free... click on the blog link to the right of this page... the offereings may not always be to your liking but I probably find one book a month worth downloading.... If I were you I'd do a search on free books if you are new - a great way to start building your library....

Thanks fot the hints. Am new to the forum, not the Nook. My wife and I have had Nook Colors for almost 2 years and B&N just replaced my Nook under warrenty for a Nook HD.

Free is always good. I have found a new favorite author several times by reading a free book.

Free Friday books at bn has always been a pain since way back. They use it as a marketing tool but then make customers jump thru hoops to find them.  Just like why if they can get the daily find to show up as a category in shop on nook, why can't they have the free Friday boom show.  Fishy practice huh!

Well if you want to search, then you have hoops to deal with.

However, if you go to the NookBook Discussion board here and navigate to Free Nookbooks No OT Please, you will find free Nookbooks almost every day. Along with a weekly summary of everything found as free in the prior week.

No Hoops, no jumping, and the links take you directly to where you can download.
