    Book cover showing Red X

      I now added my cover to nook press but when I preview it on nook for web the cover is missing with a red x where the jpeg should be. It looked fine when I looked at it in sigil. Anyone know how to fix it? Here is my html code:

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd"><html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <title>Cover</title> </head> <body> <div style="text-align: center; padding: 0pt; margin: 0pt;"> <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" height="100%" preserveAspectRatio="xMidYMid meet" version="1.1" viewBox="0 0 1500 2000" width="100%" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <image height="2000" width="1500" xlink:href="../Images/cover72dpi1500x2000.jpg"/> </svg> </div> </body> </html>

          It could be a simple fix.

          First off, I would avoid NP's manuscript editor. It will screw up your file and cause more headaches than you care to deal with. That said, take a look at these.

          You need to make sure the name of your cover file is exact.
          What I mean is, CAPS matter as does your use of .jpg or .jpeg
          Also, I see that your image is 1500x2000
          That might be your issue. Golden ratio for a books cover is 1333x2000 (1600x2400) You might want to try resizing it; see how that works for you.

          Hope this helps :smileyhappy:

            One more thing, did you verify your epub before you uploaded?

            I don't see in your code where your books cover would be listed in the stylesheet.

            Just a thought . . .

              Just curious, but did you ever figure out your problem?
