The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I phone chatted via the new NookPress system, and not a single question I asked was answered. Instead I was repeatedly directed to ask my questions via email. I promptly did so, and a week later have not heard anything.

Since NookPress My Reported sales are running about 10% of normal. When I try to check sales now the spinning wheel spins awhile and then disappears- without any text. It is the same for NookPress and Pubit.

My recently reported ebook sales with commission for March are several copies short of what was originally reported to me.

It's a pity that BandN cannot get its ebook related act together.Without minimum performance, how can it ever hope to compete successfully? It cannot, and it doesn't.

My most recent ebook "Principles of Flight" is available from Amazon.com, BandN.com and Kobo.com. If you are interested in flying, you will enjoy reading it, and looking at the pictures. With 24 illustrations. Here is one.

I'm also seeing a HUGE drop in sales since the new website came out. My sales have dropped by 50 percent. The new site has so many bugs in it that I would not be at all surprised to find out that they screwed up the accounting and are not reporting a lot of sales. I've gone from 8 to 14 books a day to 3. I'm suddenly debating pulling ALL of my titles from B&N and publishing via Smashwords, as they have a vested interest in making sure that B&N's sales numbers are correct, and have a lot more power than I do.

anyone else see a sharp drop in sales after Nook press came out?

When the Sales Report spinning wheel stops, now there is text saying no sales yesterday or today. I don't know which is more disappointing- no Report or no Reported Sales. I expect people buying books are still being billed.

"When will it ever end- when will it ev-er end?"

Once it's all NookPress and no more Pubit, will there still be a Forum here? Please let me know, thanks.

In the hierarchy of the book industry, Indie authors rank lower than a snake's belly. And that is mighty low. I am not complaining, just stating a fact. If you don't know it already, you should.
