Hit with Phony Bad Reviews? How long for B&N to take them down?

      Hi There!

Is anyone else getting hit with these weird 2 star reviews?  (Yes, they say "nice book," but the 2 stars pull down the rating.)

"This is a really nice book!1331041753034"

I see them on several others!  They are identical. What the HECK are they?

It's one thing if a reader wants to leave feedback and say they don't like your book, but it's another to have your rating pulled down for nothing.

I hit the "Report this Review," but does anyone know how long it takes for B&N to react?

      Thanks All!

Hate to disappoint you, but there are some people who seem to get a kick out of giving bad reviews. Many, without ever reading the book they are bashing. I know that a number of authors have been plagued with this problem on Amazon, but there isn't much anyone can do, not as long as the 'reviewer' follows certain rules. It isn't fair, but one has to just hope for some good, honest reviews too. If you do get help with this, I will be surprised, but delighted.

          Good luck!:smileyembarrassed:

Thank you, Elaine.  That is sad!

Well, in honor of those bashers, I am going to dedicate MY ENTIRE day to the theme of "MEAN PEOPLE SUCK!" and be thankful that I, along with many others, are not one of them.

Can you imagine having to wake up every morning being such a crappy person?  I bet they kick puppies and steal parking spaces from old ladies, too.

Going to go work on my article for my next Blog Stop!  Title:  Mean People Suck.  Followed by some Tweeting about horrible mean people!  :smileyhappy:

Thanks again, Elaine, for enlightening me.
