Free Friday eBook.... not so free?

I clicked to get the free Friday eBook and was not asked if I agreed to be charged, yet my account now shows I am being charged.  Is this going to be corrected?  I am still very disappointed I didn't receive my e-gift card during the Master Card promotion.  Now I am being charged for a free eBook.  Not very nice.

This is surprising. I just downloaded the free Friday eBook and was not charged, as well as downloading compromising positions for free without a problem.

Did you download it using the link in the blog posting?

I have noticed that on occasion a book that is being offered for free will also be listed at it's regular price. If you click on the wrong one you could end up paying for the book.

The free eBook button should say "Get Free eBook" and not "Buy Now".

The link took me to the book that charges you too.  And I did click on the right link.  Luckily I noticed the price and didn't buy it.  What you have to do is search for Scandal Sheets manually and there will be two.  The one that is $4 and the one that is $0.  You just have to click on the free one.

Speaking of the mastercard gift card,  I got mine no problem.  So I'm wondering what is up with those that did not?   Now,  I left my email address to the changed one I used to get the MC promotion, though I heard that others changed theirs back immediately and was wondering if this could be why.  Did you change your email addy to get the promo and if so did you leave it changed or did you change it back?   Just curious!

I noticed a 30% off coupon in my emal if I used my MC so there's another team up promotion.
