    Repost-Nook converts from 220-110?

Hi, I have a repost of my question.

Is all I need when I go to Europe the plug adapter to fit the recepticle of the country I am visiting or do I need the plug adapter AND the power converter/transformer?

      Thanks

Play it safe.  Use a power converter.  The power adapter/charging unit for NOOKs doesn't look like it would be able to step down European voltages.  You would probably fry it if you plugged it into a European power source without a power converter.

The stock Nook HD+ comes with a switching power supply rated for 100-240V 50-60cycle.

You will most likely just need the plug adapter, but always check all your chargers to be sure.  If the charger says input: 100v - 240v, then you are good to go without the converter. Most modern chargers are designed to work both here and overseas.

Note that not all of Europe uses the same type of socket, so check each country you'll be visiting to make sure you have the correct adapter.

                  Good advice.
