Update 2.2.0 - missing apps and library will not sync

The update 2.2.0 automatically updated my Nook HD.   But now, there are no apps in my app tray - simply a link to the Nook shop.  The library will not sync and says I have no books.  There are now 89 items in "My Files" - I'm assuming all my books and apps.  There is no "web" button on the home page.

Is it possible to uninstall a software update and if so, how? Has anyone else had this issue?

          Hi QuietPanda,

Have you looked at your profile and checked that your permissions haven't been changed by the update?

Tap on 'Panda's Nook'>Edit Profiles>Edit Panda>Manage Content>Books to check you can get access to the books and Apps to check you can get access to the Apps you want (I use this to take away access for Google Apps I don't want on my device, too).

The updates in the past have messed with permissions, so this might be what has happened to you.

Let us know how you get on.
