While there aren't any links in it, having to back out to the original upper level when starting is rather annoying.

I have the same problem. Can't delete, can't move, nothing. I decided to try Dolphin Browser, and get this-when I try to import my chrome bookmarks, the only bookmarks that get imported are the ones from that stupid nook bookmarks folder that was forced on me. I was loving this thing till the whole "update with magic folders". have any of you heard of a solution?  I even uninstalled and reinstalled chrome to see if that would help. it cleared all the bookmarks in chrome, except for the ones that were forced in with the update. when I opened chrome, all my stuff was gone, but there were the nook bookmarks. Just mocking me. I hope they will clear this up. it's quite annoying. I was wondering if I sync my bookmarks to my pc, and try to delete the nook bookmarks there, would it affect the nook.... please look into this B&N...

I found thid bookmark folder on mine after the upgrade as well. It's another instance of B&N thinking they know what is best for their customers. The folder and the links contained within it cannot be deleted. Personally I find it highly offensive as I strongly object to Twitter and Facebook, and now I am stuck with links to it in my browser that I cannot delete. Apparently B&N needs thinks they own my  tablet. Time to look into rooting my hd+.
