    Night Theme

Do you folks prefer to use the "night theme" when reading in the dark? Is it really easier on the eyes? Thanks for the input!

I don't find it easier on the eye. Less light to bother your mate perhaps.

Hate the night theme in the Reader - alternative readers (FBReader, Aldiko, even Nook for Android) provide a true black background with choice of text color (e.g. blue or green) that is much easier on the eyes than the Reader's only optionn of white on a too bright gray and doesn't bother my wife while reading in bed with lights out.

I have tried using that setting and at least for me it bothers my eyes after a half hour or so. I have power saving mode turned on all the time and I really never have to change my screen brightness unless I am in direct sun light.

It really boils down to what you and possibly whoever is in the dark with you prefers. :smileywink:
