    Groovy stand stopped working

I use the groovy stand on my nook hd+. After the last update it went wonkey. Sometimes the slightest movement, like picking the nook up will turn it on while other times it won't turn on when i open the cover at all. I then have to open and close the cover several times to get it to turn on. Has anyone else noticed this?

Sounds Normal.  My HD doesn't come out of standby every time I open the cover either.  However it does it most of the time and I don't mind hitting the N or power switch to turn it on, occasionally.

Oops, I forgot it was even supposed to do that! Initally had a heavier cover and am just in the habit of turning it on and off myself. Tested it, yes, seems to work fine (about 4 mos old.)

In playing with it, it looks like the sensor is to the left of the bend (when holding it in portrait mode.) Does that sound right to you? When you pick it up, are you holding it around the bend in the cover? Just wondering if youre somehow tripping the sensor.

Actually I prob pick it up on both sides at random. I;ve had it abt 7 months now. Worked great till the first update and then with each update a new issue show up. I now have several issues with it. Never had any issues at all with previous nooks. I'm just soooo not loving thid hd plus.
