I know that in order to see an updated ebook that you have purchased, you need to place that book into archive for about 4 or 5 hours (sometimes less depending on the book) before you'll see any of the changes.
I guess I've always archived, -with Kindle, too,- my books and just waited to see the corrections. I've never had to email the help desk.
I put the original into the archive but it disappeared from my smartphone and I found it in Everything Else. Then I got a notice saying said the book couldn't be viewed on my device, so they told me to reinstall the app which allowed me to view it, only it still wasn't in the archive, it was still in Everything Else.
I've emailed the Nook Press help because I want them to delete the whole project for me so I can start from scratch; I can't do it because the stupid thing has been on sale. Failing that, I want them to tell me why my formatting hasn't worked and if they can ensure it sees the updated manuscript. It doesn't.
That's the point behind archive; it is removed from your library. To replace it you need to go to Manage your Nook at BN. From there you can move your book from archive and back into your library so you can view it.
Also, they won't delete your books project because someone might have purchased your book.
Yeah, I did, Mrs Smith, but like I said when I came to retrieve it, it wasn't in there on my smartphone app. I couldn't even find it in my account in the Nook Shop.
I give up. There's obviously nothing I can do about it.
Just curious, but did you have D2D convert your word file into epub? That might be your problem; Like using NP, maybe draft is almost as bad? Since I don't use them, I can't say for sure, but that might be something to look into. You might, to have the book you want, have to hire a formatter or learn to format yourself.
