    Using Gift Cards?

I have been using Gift Cards for all my purchases for a few months now.  I have three in my account to use right now.  I just purchased a stand for my Nook at $25.  Why did B&N charge my debit card instead of putting it on the gift cards?  When I buy books, the charges go directly to my Gift Cards, I don't have to tell it to, it just gets charged to them.  Why would this purchase be different?  I wasn't banking on them putting this on my debit card.

Is there something else I'm supposed to do when I order other things other than books?

      Frustrating...

When you order items other than ebooks you have to specify the payment type.  It will only take from gift cards if you specifically tell it to.  The last screen before you place your order tells what payment be used and has an option to apply a gift card.
