How are you viewing these files on your device?
I've been dropping right into the Samsung memory or from SD card. But from SD card I can't see in my library. And to drop directly into the library takes up memory. But also, I found out that notes and highlights are device specific and if the device shuts down and resets I lose all of them.
I was hoping to tie my SD card in to the library and be able to save my notes/highlights. But that is seeming as the system can't do that. The notes/highlights are not backed up anywhere on sideloaded books.
Ok, so it's a Galaxy Tab 4 - shows how literate I am.
I don't view them since there's nothing on the card. I'd like the pictures
I take 1) to go directly to the card if possible and 2) to have a way to
put them on the card from the Tab if they can be saved there directly.
Thanks for answering.
Yes, you can save the photos directly to your SD card. Click on the gear icon in the camera to configure settings for it, then select storage, SD card.
To move photos already in the internal storage of the device to the SD card:
1) Select 'My Files'
2) Device storage
5) Tap the 3 dots on the upper right hand side
6) Tap Select
7) Check the photos you would like to move
8) Tap the folder with the arrow on the top right of the screen (to the right of the trash can icon)
9) Select SD card on the left hand side and then the folder you would like to add the photos to
10) Select Move here
You may skip steps 2 through 4 by selecting images under the categories tab in the My Files folder. However, it will show all images on the SD card and internal storage. You can see where they are stored by clicking the three dots on the top right> select an image> click the three dots again and select details.
