Tap library at the bottom of the homescreen to bring up the library then tap the menu button on the left bottom corner. Tap refresh.
While I did as you instructed, the new issues still did not show up on my Nook.
But, when I tapped on "Manage Content for Profiles" and went into Magazines, I discovered that the new issues I was looking for were there, only the boxes next to them were unchecked. So, I checked the boxes next to those issues I was looking for, tapped Save and there they were!! I just had to click on the individual magazines to download them to my Nook.
Maybe someone can explain what the "Manage Content for Profiles" means and does? I don't understand why the magazines didn't show up this time without my having to use that option when they've automatically shown up on my Nook before.

"Manage Content for Profiles" is if you have a kid and you want to hand them your HD+ so they can read kid's books, but not see your Fifty Shades of Chicken cookbook and ask embarrassing questions. You can set up a separate profile that shows/hides books in the library and then switch to the profile, with an optional password so they can't switch back.
Sorry if you've already thought of this, but are your Nook HD+ and all the other devices on which you last read your OverDrive books logged into your OverDrive account and connected to the Internet? My devices sometimes logoff spontaneously and then won't sync until I log in to OverDrive again.
I recommend that you do the following on each device on which you use OverDrive:
- Open the OverDrive app
- From the menu in the upper left hand corner, click on Account
- Click on Manage account
- If the resulting screen doesn't say, "Logged in as readerme", then you need to sign in.
- If (when) it does say "Logged in as readerme", then, click on Devices, and make sure your NOOK HD+ is listed.
- Also, look to see whether or not - at the top of the Lined Devices screen - there's a message that reads, "This account is unverified. Click here to resend verification email to [your email address]." If so, then click there to resend your verification email address.
One or more of those steps should resolve the problem.
